The purpose of the trust
The goal of the Trust is to be as proactive as possible in ensuring we limit the inevitable barriers Fionn will face throughout his life and to maximise Fionn’s potential going forward. Funds are needed to assist Fionn in all areas of his life now and into the future.
Fionn’s home will need to be significantly renovated and extended to cater for his short and long term needs. He will need an adapted vehicle very soon to transport his power chair enable him to engage in life as fully as possible with his mates and cousins.
Fionn already struggles massively with the stairs and often says he ‘hates them’ and becomes upset. He does not need this obstacle now or into the future, so plans will be made to either significantly alter the existing family home or move to a suitable bungalow, which will need to be adapted.
Fionn’s emotional and psychological wellbeing is of utmost concern as is the emotional wellbeing of his siblings and parents. Funds are needed to support every aspect of this family now and into the future.
The Fionn Brogan Trust is in place to collect and administer funds raised for Fionn’s plight. The Trust will be responsible for distributing monies to meet the costs of Fionn’s ongoing and future care, and costs borne by his family related to his treatment.

Like everyone else involved with The Fionn Brogan Trust and fundraising, our Trustees are volunteers, who lead by example. No one involved with the organisation is paid a salary or expenses. This way, we are able to ensure 100% of donations are used to meet our goals.
